LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Folarin Balogun showcased his scoring prowess once again, capitalizing on a rebound from Sergino Dest’s long-range shot.
The 22-year-old forward notched his first goal of the current international window by calmly slotting home the close-range opportunity created by Dest’s powerful strike.
After a relatively subdued performance in the previous game against Uzbekistan, the Monaco striker appears to be in excellent form.

For the second consecutive match, USMNT manager Gregg Berhalter entrusted Balogun with a starting role, and this time, he justified that decision by opening the scoring in a match that ended with a convincing victory for Berhalter’s team.
Next on the USMNT’s agenda is a friendly against Germany scheduled for Saturday, October 14.
