In a tragic turn of events, the death of the singer, Mohbad, has been officially confirmed through a sombre Instagram post on his verified page. The announcement was made on Tuesday evening, leaving fans and the music industry in a state of shock and grief.
Mohbad, who was previously associated with Naira Marley’s “Marlian Records,” had parted ways with the label in 2022, citing instances of abuse and exploitation as the reason for his departure.

It was on October 5, 2022, that Mohbad levelled accusations against Naira Marley, alleging domestic violence and claiming that his former boss had instructed others to assault him. However, the label owner vehemently denied the allegations.
In response to the news of Mohbad’s untimely demise, Naira Marley expressed his grief on his Instagram story with a heartbreak emoji, paying tribute to his former signee.
