LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) Monaco has formally announced the successful signing of USMNT sensation Folarin Balogun from Arsenal, for a reputed sum of €40 million.
Monaco revealed the substantial €40 million ($43 million/£34 million) transaction on Wednesday, further confirming his commitment to a five-year contract.

The 22-year-old forward, who excelled during the 2022-23 season on loan at Reims in France, netting an impressive 22 goals for the Ligue 1 squad, bids adieu to the North London club after a three-year stint, during which he amassed a mere 10 appearances at the senior level.
Monaco presently leads the Ligue 1 standings with seven points from their initial three fixtures. Their upcoming challenge is a Saturday clash against Lens.
