LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) Victor Osimhen is now prepared to sign a new deal with Napoli despite interest from other premier European teams.
Osimhen will reportedly agree to a new three-year contract with Gianluca Di Marzio that has a €150 million (£129 million or $164 million) release clause.
A number of prominent teams have expressed interest in the 2022–23 Serie A top scorer, and lengthy contract negotiations have taken place. However, he is finally ready to sign a new deal.
The provision won’t be able to be used by Italian clubs in the first year, the article claims.

Osimhen has been associated with Chelsea as well as teams like Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
The 24-year-old was worried that losing championship-winning coach Luciano Spalletti would upset him, but Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has made him an offer of €10 million (£8.6 million/$10.9 million) each season to remain with the Serie A champions.
Osimhen is revered in Naples as a deity after leading Napoli to the championship last season with 26 goals.
