LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)-Victor Osimhen has been offered a contract worth almost £1 million per week by Al Hilal in exchange for a sum totaling €140 million (£120.3 million) to Napoli.
Although the player rejected to meet with them, the Saudi Pro League team has already had a proposal of €300 million (£259 million) approved for Paris St. Germain’s Kylian Mbappe this summer.
Napoli is said to require more money than €150 million (£128.8 million) to even consider selling a player who led Serie A in goals scored last season as they won the championship.
Osimhen, 24, was a target for Manchester United this summer due to the breakdown of contract negotiations with Napoli.

According to Sky Italy, a meeting between Napoli and Osimhen’s agent ended without a decision being made on extending his contract, which is valid until the summer of 2025.
A question on the status of a new contract for Osimhen was put to Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis last month.
“We have an agreement in principle for a two-year extension, but [we] are willing to consider an offer we could not refuse,” he added.
This summer, Al Hilal has acquired the services of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio, Kalidou Koulibaly from Chelsea, and Ruben Neves from Wolves.
