LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) Ronaldo showcased his tactical brilliance once again, executing a clever free-kick routine that left the Al-Wedha goalkeeper and defenders bewildered.

Positioned about 25 yards from goal, the expectation was for Ronaldo to take the shot, but he had other plans.

With a well-choreographed run-up, Ronaldo appeared poised to strike a long-range effort.

However, the distraction tactic unfolded seamlessly as former Manchester United left-back Alex Telles stepped up to take the free-kick instead.

The clever maneuver caught everyone off guard, including Al-Wedha’s defense, who were anticipating Ronaldo’s right-footed attempt.

In a stunning turn of events, Telles skillfully curled the ball over the wall with his left foot, leaving the Moroccan goalkeeper Munir Mohamedi rooted to the spot.

The ball found the bottom corner of the net, and Telles celebrated while Ronaldo joined in the pursuit of success as Al-Nassr’s ingenious set-piece plan unfolded to perfection.

Ronaldo, not just orchestrating the trickery, also added to the scoreline with a goal in the comfortable 3-1 victory over Al-Wedha.

The 38-year-old football legend has now notched an impressive 22 goals in 23 appearances across all competitions this season, showcasing his enduring prowess and impact on the pitch.
