During the match, Henderson narrowly avoided a red card for deliberately pushing Portuguese international Otavio to the ground after Ali Hazazi had tripped the winger.
This led to a heated altercation on the pitch, involving players from both Al-Nassr and Al-Ettifaq. Hazazi was ultimately sent off, while Henderson emerged unscathed.
This encounter marked the first time Ronaldo and Henderson shared the pitch since Manchester United’s clash with Liverpool in August, which concluded with a 2-1 victory for the hosts.
Ronaldo subsequently left Old Trafford and joined Al-Nassr in the new year, while Henderson made his move to Al-Ettifaq from Liverpool in July.
Al-Nassr is set to face Al-Khaleej in their upcoming match on Saturday, while Al-Ettifaq will host Al-Raed in the Saudi Pro League on the same day.
