LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Jadon Sancho is on the brink of leaving Manchester United in January, as his future at the club is believed to be hanging by a thread, with a reported likelihood of “90 percent” of his exit.
The English winger has been undergoing individual training sessions at the academy facilities since early October.
Following his public criticism of United manager Erik ten Hag, where he accused him of being untruthful about the reasons for dropping him during a 3-1 loss to Arsenal,
For weeks now, the 23-year-old has been working in isolation at Carrington, unable to socialize or dine with his teammates.
Despite appeals from senior club figures and his fellow players, Sancho has not issued the apology his manager sought and remains resolute in his stance.
According to a report from Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United officials believe that Sancho needs to secure a new club in the upcoming January transfer window.

The club is reportedly aware that a permanent transfer is unlikely to materialize in January for the winger, who was acquired for £73 million in the summer of 2021, and thus, a loan deal is seen as a more viable option.
Speaking on his Daily Briefing podcast, Romano remarked, “I think they [United] know at the moment that it’s not going to be a permanent transfer; that could be a loan deal with a buy option included.”
“So, I think in January that they will be open to any opportunity, of course,” he added. “Of course, they would prefer a permanent transfer; that would be perfect to have their money back after what they spent on Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.
“At the moment, the people from Manchester United are very clear. It looks like it’s 90 percent over between Jadon Sancho and Manchester United.
“We keep a 10 percent because we know that anything can happen in football, but as of today, it reminds us of the situation with Cristiano Ronaldo one year ago.
“The feeling is that Jadon has to find a new club in the January transfer window.”
