LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Renowned football star Cristiano Ronaldo has gifted UFC legend Francis Ngannou an £87,000 luxury watch ahead of Ngannou’s crossover fight with Tyson Fury in Saudi Arabia this weekend.
Ngannou proudly displayed the Jacob and Co watch, which came in a CR7-styled case, after receiving it from the limited edition collection called ‘Heart of Ronaldo’ outside a Jacob and Co store.
Ngannou, expressing his appreciation, stated, ‘Got to pick up my new watch ahead of fight week here in Riyadh’ and affectionately referred to Ronaldo as his ‘brother.’

The two previously met in Riyadh in January, and Ngannou described the footballer as ‘inspirational’ during their encounter.

Termed ‘The Battle of the Baddest,‘ this event marks the Cameroonian-French mixed martial artist’s debut in professional boxing.
Estimates suggest that he will earn approximately £6 million, surpassing his total earnings from his 14-fight UFC career.
