LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) Barcelona defender Joao Cancelo has addressed the recent controversy surrounding his reaction to autograph hunters.
In a social media post, he clarified that the individuals in question were not genuine fans but rather opportunistic individuals who repeatedly sought his autograph to later sell it.

Cancelo expressed frustration with their behaviour, highlighting the need for respect and understanding of the situation.

Cancelo has since joined the Portuguese national team for their upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers against Slovakia and Bosnia & Herzegovina.
