LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Barcelona intends to exercise patience in managing Pedri’s injury recovery process, opting not to rush the midfielder’s return to action.
Pedri sustained a right thigh injury during training on 24 August and was initially expected to be back on the field within a month.

However, Sport reports that Pedri’s recovery timeline has been extended, with a return to action not anticipated until the end of October.
Barcelona has learned from past experiences and is committed to ensuring Pedri fully recuperates before he resumes playing.
Encouragingly for the club, there is a possibility that the Spanish international could regain fitness in time for the highly anticipated El Clasico showdown against arch-rivals Real Madrid, scheduled for October 28.
Xavi’s team will face Antwerp in the Champions League next on Tuesday.
