LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Lukaku, who recently joined Roma during the summer transfer window, netted twice in their Serie A clash, bringing his total goals to five in just six matches.
The Belgian striker has been the subject of criticism, particularly due to the lengthy transfer saga that saw him linked with Inter and Juventus before settling at Roma.

Unfazed by the doubts cast upon him, Lukaku stated after the match: “I am a professional, and I put in the work over the summer.
“Many have discussed my form, but I prefer to let my performance on the field do the talking.”
As the international break approaches, Lukaku will be looking to maintain his exceptional Serie A form when Roma takes on Monza on 22 October.
