LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – The Champions League had a tough start for British teams this week, with Arsenal losing 2-1 to Lens and Manchester United suffering a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Galatasaray, leaving them at the bottom of their group.
Next up, after more than two decades, the Champions League anthem will echo in Newcastle as Eddie Howe’s side seeks to build on their solid 0-0 draw against Milan.
They face Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday, hoping to continue their positive momentum.
Newcastle secured a goalless draw against AC Milan in their previous match, with goalkeeper Nick Pope facing 25 shots, nine of which were on target.

In their first match, Manchester City, led by the in-form Julian Alvarez, came from behind to defeat Red Star, with Rodri sealing the victory.

Celtic, who were defeated by Feyenoord in their opening match, are hosting Lazio, managed by former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri.
The Rome-based team arrives in Glasgow after winning only two of their first seven Serie A games and following a 2-0 defeat by Milan last Saturday.
