LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) –Thomas Tuchel has weighed in on Erik ten Hag’s challenges at Manchester United, emphasizing the intense scrutiny surrounding the club.
In recent times, Manchester United has faced a string of setbacks, with three losses in their last four matches, including a 3-1 defeat to Brighton at Old Trafford.
With just six points from their first five games, they now find themselves trailing leaders Manchester City by nine points.
Tuchel acknowledges the added pressure on Ten Hag and the United players, especially due to the presence of numerous former Red Devils stars in the media.
Despite their current struggles, the Bayern Munich coach anticipates that United will remain a formidable opponent when they face the German giants in the upcoming Champions League clash on Wednesday.

“The start of the season doesn’t necessarily define a team. They were never completely out of the game against Brighton.
“United possesses significant individual talent and poses a significant threat,” Tuchel commented during a press conference.
He went on to say, “I’ve noticed that Manchester United always attracts a great deal of attention.
“Many pundits are former Manchester United players, and the legacy of Sir Alex Ferguson adds to the immense pressure.
“It’s a clear indication that you’re part of a major club with high expectations.”
Manchester United is scheduled to take on Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena in Munich for their inaugural Champions League match this Wednesday.
