LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Matthew Aderoju, also known as  DJ Splash, former Marlian Records’ in-house DJ, has shared his experience with Naira Marley.

He shared his story while speaking with actress Iyabo Ojo, who visited his family earlier today.

This is following his mum’s cry for justice on social media, which went viral some days ago. The mum had said her son lost his mind while he was working for Naira Marley.

While recounting his experience, DJ Splash said trouble started for him when he told Naira Marley of his intention to start making music asides the Disk jockey job he was engaged in.

He said the other members of the gang felt threatened that he would become greater and make more money than other artistes.

Aderoju further claimed he overheard them planning to poison him or make him go mad. He said he took precautions by going out to buy his own food while in the house.

According to him, Naira Marley never gave him money while he was with him.

‘’They tried their best to make me go mad. They put something in my food,” he said.

He further disclosed that Naira Marley’s mum and other family members were invited to the Marlian house where the singer told them that he, DJ Splash, was planning to venture into singing and that he knew he would do well.
