LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – A delegation from the Saudi Arabia football league have reportedly journeyed to England for a final attempt to entice Liverpool into selling Mohamed Salah.
Al-Ittihad had their initial £150 million ($189 million) bid for the Egyptian star turned down by Liverpool.
While the possibility of Salah moving to the Middle East remains open, the Daily Mail has reported that a delegation arrived in England on Saturday to continue negotiations with Liverpool.

Liverpool has been adamant about retaining Salah, with Jurgen Klopp affirming that he is “our player and wants to play here.”
Klopp also emphasized Salah’s strong commitment to the club. Additionally, midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai stated that Salah “wants to stay” at Anfield.
However, the Saudi Pro League side is prepared to challenge Liverpool’s stance by reportedly considering a world-record offer of approximately £200 million ($252 million) for the talented forward.
The Saudi delegation will engage in discussions with Liverpool regarding a potential deal before the Saudi transfer window closes on Thursday.
