Mane struggled during his time at Munich, scoring only 12 goals across all competitions and reportedly getting into an altercation with teammate Leroy Sane.
Bayern supporters were clearly excited when he arrived to Germany last summer because they had acquired a player who had been a dynamic member of a front three at Liverpool alongside Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah.
Nevertheless, his fall was rapid and plain to witness for everyone. Between October 2022 and April 2023, he went little over five months without scoring a Bundesliga goal.
For his new club, he will be aiming to return to his outstanding best. He will participate in the Saudi Pro League’s start-up activities as his squad prepares to face Jordan Henderson’s new Al-Ittifaq on 14 August.
