To iron out the details, the Parisians must act swiftly. The release clause for Dembele increases to €100m (£86m/$108m) on 1 August. The international player from France’s contract expires in June 2024.
PSG will probably want assistance up front this summer. In addition to possibly losing Kylian Mbappe, they have already lost Lionel Messi to Inter Miami.
Dembele will become the Ligue 1 winners’ third forward acquisition of the summer season, joining Marco Asensio and Lee Kang-In.
PSG will now focus on the deal’s precise structure in an effort to finish everything before the deadline of 1 August.
