LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Bayern Munich is said to have made a second offer of £70 million To Tottenham Harry Kane after having their first offer rejected.
Tottenham turned down a £60 million ($77 million) approach from Bayern to buy Kane last month.
According to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports, the Bundesliga winners have resurfaced with an enhanced £70 million ($90 million) with add-ons offer for the England captain.
The 29-year-old ‘absolutely’ wants to play for Thomas Tuchel’s team, he continued. Kane’s contract with Tottenham Hotspur Stadium expires in 2024.
It seems unlikely that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will receive a considerably higher offer for the attacker than Bayern’s one this summer, despite the fact that the player apparently received a new contract proposal from his current employers.

If Tottenham is successful in convincing their all-time leading scorer to remain for another season, they run the risk of losing him for nothing in a year.
Ange Postecoglou’s new team will need to be rebuilt, thus Tottenham will need to decide whether to sell Kane, who has yet to win a title with the club, or to work to maximize his performance for another year.
After a lengthy season with Tottenham and England, Kane is taking advantage of his summer vacation. He is slated to begin preseason practice the following week.
