LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)-Manchester United is considering selling as many as 13 players to pay for new hires ahead of the 2023–24 season.
The Daily Mail said that stars like Jadon Sancho, Harry Maguire, Anthony Martial, and Scott McTominay are among the 13 players from their current team for whom the Red Devils are apparently open to offers.
In addition, Erik ten Hag is open to selling backup goalkeeper Dean Henderson as well as the linebackers Alex Telles, Eric Bailly, and Brandon Williams.
Donny van de Beek and Fred’s price tag from the Red Devils is £20 million ($25.4 million). Along with youthful players Zidane Iqbal and Hannibal Mejbri, Anthony Elanga has also been declared unnecessary.

The striker, midfielder, and goalkeeper positions are all needing reinforcements at Man Utd, but the Red Devils will reportedly be limited to spending £120 million according to Financial Fair Play rules.
They expect player sales to bring in close to £100 million, which would help Ten Hag’s budget.
One of the reasons the club won’t meet Chelsea’s £65 million asking price for Mason Mount is their inability to make significant purchases this year.
They might not be able to afford to sign top players from Tottenham and Napoli like Victor Osimhen and Harry Kane because of their limited budget.
