LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – AS Roma boss Jose Mourinho is eager on coming to Paris upcoming season to replace Christophe Galtier after Luis Campos held talks with his agent.

The football advisor for Paris Saint-Germain, Luis Campos wants to appoint Jose Mourinho as the team’s new manager. He has known Mourinho since they were both students at the same Portuguese university.

According to RMC Sports, he believes that the two-time Champions League champion is the ideal choice to succeed Christophe Galtier as manager.

Campos spoke with Mourinho’s agent Jorge Mendes about the likelihood of the manager taking over the French giants, though he hasn’t started direct conversations with his old friend.

Normally, PSG’s Qatari owners have the ultimate say when choosing a new manager, but if their football advisor has his way, Mourinho might be in command of the team next season.

PSG has had a poor season as a result of its early elimination from both the French Cup and the Champions League. They have lost six league games this year, despite being in position to win Ligue 1.

Roma, who won the Europa Conference League last year under Mourinho, are currently ranked seventh in the league, five points behind Inter in fourth place and his current deal with the Italian team runs through 2024.
