LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan has won the Women’s 100m Hurdles event at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, voiceofnaija.ng can report.
The Nigerian world record holder, clocked 12:30secs despite a slow start to the race, to set a new Games Record after winning her title.
Amusan, by this feat, has won the Women’s 100m Hurdles for two consecutive games, and seems not to be stopping.
With this win, Nigeria’s gold medals haul at the competition has now risen to 10 while the country remains 6th on the table.
Team Nigeria is still hopeful for a medals haul in athletics in other events that will be coming up later on Sunday, 7 August, 2022.
