LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Reigning champions of the Nigeria Premier Basketball League, Rivers Hoopers claimed a solid 80-72 win against Ghana’s Braves of GRA in the Louis Edem Invitational Basketball Championship.
Mustapha Oyebanji led the scoring with 15 points, supported by Abel Offia with 14 and Michael Oriakhi with 13.

Despite a strong start from the Braves, Hoopers took the lead in the second quarter and maintained it throughout the game.
They showcased their defensive skills in the third quarter, and in the fourth quarter, they sealed the win with an eight-point lead.
Their next match is against Comets on Tuesday at the National Stadium in Lagos.
