LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) –Hannibal Mejbri has shared a friendly word of advice with his Tunisian international teammate, Elias Achouri, as they prepare to face off in a crucial Champions League match against Manchester United.
On Tuesday, Manchester United will take on Danish opponents at Old Trafford, and the pressure is on as they seek to secure a much-needed victory.
Erik ten Hag’s team is eager to bounce back after suffering two consecutive defeats in their 2023-24 continental campaign against Bayern Munich and Galatasaray.
Achouri is looking forward to the match and is determined to make an impact on behalf of Copenhagen, who have managed to secure just one point so far in the competition.
As he faces his fellow countryman Hannibal on the pitch, he’s received a word of caution from the Manchester United star.

Achouri spoke with Tipsbladet and said, “This is going to be a monumental moment in my career. I must stay focused and not let the occasion overwhelm me.
“I am a professional, and I’m going to Old Trafford to contribute to the team’s success and achieve a great result for the club.
“I told Hannibal that we are going to win the match. I believe we will exchange jerseys after the game because he’s my friend.
“It will be a special moment for both of us. I contacted Hannibal after the group stage draw, and during the international break, we discussed the match.
“He advised me to stay calm and not go too hard on their players. I told him that I’ll do my best, or at least give it a try.
“We have a strong connection; we know each other well from the national team, and both of us grew up in France.”
Hannibal, who had an impressive loan spell at Birmingham City last season, has made four appearances for Manchester United this season, scoring his first senior goal for the Premier League giants in a 3-1 match against Brighton.
