LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) Romelu Lukaku, who has been on fire since joining Roma on loan from Chelsea, attributes his impressive form to his special relationship with coach Jose Mourinho.
Lukaku’s strong performances stand in stark contrast to his time at Chelsea, where he struggled.
He has scored seven goals in eight appearances for Roma, including two in their recent 4-1 win against Cagliari.
Lukaku spoke about his bond with Mourinho, emphasizing the trust they have in each other: “As I’ve said in the past, he and I have a special relationship. He knows me and my children.

Lukaku is set to represent Belgium in the Euro 2024 qualifying matches against Sweden and Austria.
He could make his appearance for Belgium on October 14 when they face Austria.
