LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola has expressed his apprehension about his team’s exhaustion following their midweek match against Newcastle.
Due to issues with the team’s plane, City will have to take a lengthy bus journey back to Manchester after the Carabao Cup match.
Typically, City would fly back home from their away matches, but the unforeseen problem with the plane has disrupted their travel plans.
As a result, the team will embark on a five-and-a-half-hour bus trip, causing them to arrive in Manchester around 2 am on Thursday.
This tight schedule leaves them with little time to recover before their upcoming Premier League match against Wolves on Saturday.
