Over the past several months, Real Madrid has been diligently renovating their iconic stadium in a highly ambitious project that has expanded the ground’s capacity to approximately 85,000 fans.
This extensive makeover, financed by JP Morgan and Bank of America at a cost of nearly ā¬1 billion, is now becoming evident to the club’s loyal supporters, with one of the most striking features being the introduction of the retractable pitch.

The team’s return to the revamped stadium witnessed a 2-1 victory against Getafe in their first home match of the 2023-24 La Liga season.
Surprisingly, despite the temporary change in their home venue, Los Blancos have experienced a strong start to the season and currently lead the league, with Jude Bellingham’s outstanding early performances contributing significantly.
With the international break offering a chance for manager Ancelotti to assess his team’s initial matches and prepare for a robust title challenge, Real Madrid is gearing up for their next fixture.
