LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)-Carlo Ancelotti has addressed allegations that PSG intends to inform FIFA of Real Madrid’s allegedly unlawful tapping up of Kylian Mbappe.
According to reports, Mbappe and Real have already come to an agreement under which the French superstar will pay the club a signing-on fee of €160 million (£137 million/$175 million) when he joins the team as a free agent in 2019.
This type of transaction would be against FIFA rules without prior approval from Paris Saint-Germain, and the Parisian team is apparently seeking a fine against Real Madrid as a result.
In response to this information, Ancelotti stated that “nothing surprises me” in regards to the ongoing Mbappe scandal.
In a news conference held before Real’s preseason match against Juventus this week, Ancelotti said: “Nothing shocks me. Regarding this issue, I know nothing. I will not engage in it because it is political. I step away from politics. “

It’s not surprising that the Italian wasn’t willing to openly advocate for Mbappe’s acquisition or engage in meaningful discussion about the subject, especially in light of his recent assertion that he is content with the Real Madrid team’s present composition.
It was recently discovered that Mbappe allegedly rejected a clause in his contract that would have allowed him to leave Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2019. This complicates the situation surrounding his anticipated move to Madrid.
The process is being held up by other clubs’ struggles to raise the absurd sums of money being paid to Mbappe by PSG, despite the fact that clubs like Liverpool and Chelsea are reportedly actively looking for ways to scrape together the money to secure his signature. It appears that all parties want a deal to be forced through as quickly as possible.
Mbappe’s transfer story seems to take on new twists every day, but one thing that hasn’t changed is the belief that the French sensation will ultimately join Real Madrid.
The World Cup winner’s decision to sign with the Spanish giants might be significantly impacted by PSG’s alleged attempts to have the Spanish club sanctioned by FIFA, even though such efforts may not be successful.
