Lagos Police Arrest 53-Yr-Old Woman With Laminated Electoral Materials

ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – The Lagos State Police Command said it has arrested a woman found with laminated electoral materials in the Iyana Ipaja area of the State.

Her arrest was confirmed on Friday by the Lagos Police Command.

The 53-year-old woman was arrested on Thursday at about 4pm at Candos Road, Baruwa in Iyana-Ipaja area of Lagos, Police spokesman, Ben Hundeyin said.

Hundeyin stated that the suspect was arrested inside a business centre where she was making the photocopies.

He said: “She was arrested with 550 different INEC materials.

“The laptop she used in printing the materials has been recovered and she couldn’t give a good account of how she came in possession of the materials.

“The case has been transferred to State CID Yaba for further investigation.”
