LONDON, England (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka could not hide his excitement after meeting legendary club coach, Arsene Wenger for the first time ever.
The Hale End Academy product once said during an interview, that one of his regrets as a football player in Arsenal was not getting to meet the iconic former Manager.
But after leading Arsenal to a 3-1 win against West Ham at the Emirates Stadium on Boxing Day, the 21-year-old superstar finally met with the former Arsenal Manager and shared the pictures on his Twitter page.
Wenger was returning to the club for the first time since he left the club in 2018, and the warm welcome by the Arsenal fans set the tone for an amazing evening for all the Arsenal supporters and players.
Saka, England’s Men Football Player of the year for the last season, wrote: “And finally we meet!”
The beautiful moment shared by the Arsenal youngster looks surely like a wish list item for 2022 ticked out, just when the year was ending.
