LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) Jude Bellingham, the Real Madrid player, has been pulled out of the England squad following an evaluation of his shoulder injury.
Despite joining England duty earlier this week despite missing Real Madrid’s recent matches due to this issue, Bellingham will continue his recovery in Spain after an assessment by England’s medical staff.
Additionally, Chelsea’s Levi Colwill, also nursing a shoulder problem that sidelined him in the Premier League draw against Manchester City, has been sent home.
Consequently, both Bellingham and Colwill won’t be available for England’s upcoming Euro 2024 qualifying matches against Malta and North Macedonia.

Gareth Southgate’s squad remains mostly intact for the Malta match, with England already securing their spot in Euro 2024.
However, there are last-minute inclusions with Marcus Rashford (Manchester United) and Kalvin Phillips (Manchester City) joining the team slightly later due to personal reasons.
Real Madrid will anticipate Bellingham’s swift recovery post his departure from the England camp.
The former Borussia Dortmund player has excelled since his high-profile transfer to Santiago Bernabeu, scoring 13 goals in 14 appearances.
Real Madrid, currently second in La Liga, will resume action against Cadiz on 26 November.
