LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) Erik ten Hag, the Manchester United manager, has confirmed that Antony is once again in consideration for the upcoming Champions League match against Galatasaray, having rejoined the squad at Old Trafford.
The Brazilian forward had been granted indefinite leave by the club following serious allegations made against him by his former girlfriend, Gabriela Cavallin.
Antony had been in his home country since then, where he met with the Sao Paulo police to address the allegations.
Since returning to England last week, Antony has engaged in extensive discussions with Greater Manchester Police, maintaining his innocence amidst accusations from two other women as well.

Although he has only participated in one training session since his return, the South American forward is back in contention for selection.
While acknowledging Antony’s potential return, Ten Hag stated that a final decision would be made after the team’s last training session.
Additionally, he confirmed that Lisandro Martinez, the Argentine defender, would undergo surgery for a long-standing foot injury.
Antony’s last appearance for Manchester United was in their 3-1 loss to Arsenal on September 3.
He was subsequently omitted from the Brazil squad for the recent international fixtures and has not scored for club or country since April 16.
