LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Luis Castro, Al-Nassr’s manager, has praised Cristiano Ronaldo for emanating “infectious energy” within Al-Nassr and striving to surpass “his own limits“.
Ronaldo’s dedication to his fitness regimen has been widely acknowledged, allowing him to maintain his peak performance even at the age of 38.
His stellar contributions include scoring six goals in seven matches for Al-Nassr in the initial stages of the new season.
Also, his prowess helped secure the Arab Champions Cup title with a 2-1 victory over Al-Hilal, marking his first trophy since transitioning from Europe to the Middle East.
Castro has been deeply impressed by Ronaldo’s professionalism and his ability to push the boundaries on the field, instilling motivation in his teammates to follow suit.
Speaking on the Canal GOAT YouTube channel, Castro stated, “It’s difficult to say something new about him that the world doesn’t already know.

“He immerses himself in football every day. He radiates an infectious energy toward the game and his fellow players. His day-to-day dedication to training and recovery is remarkable.”
“He embodies leadership in everything he does, every single second. This includes his diet, rest, and sleep hours—his body is under total control.
“On the field, he demonstrates the same principle. He consistently stretches his capabilities to the maximum.”
Ronaldo faced an injury during the Arab Champions Cup final, causing him to miss Al-Nassr’s Saudi Pro League opener against Al-Ettifaq.
Despite returning to face Al-Taawoun, he had minimal impact on the match as the Knights of Najd suffered their second consecutive defeat within four days.
Turning his attention towards continental responsibilities, Ronaldo will aim to restore Al-Nassr’s winning momentum in an AFC Champions League play-off against Shabab Al-Ahli on Tuesday evening.
