LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Lionel Messi’s impending move to Inter Miami a “sensation” for the Major League Soccer, Los Angeles FC star, Timothy Tillman claims.
At the end of this month, when his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires, Messi has decided to sign with MLS team Inter Miami.
A return to Barcelona was not an option for the 36-year-old due to Financial Fair Play (FFP) restrictions, but he will join the Miami team in July despite offers to play for Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal.
Tillman is eager to take against the World Cup champion Argentine as he stated in an exclusive interview with GOAL, “It’s a sensation for the entire league.”
Each player is eager for their clash with him. Playing against him shortly is something really special for me personally.

The 24-year-old also discussed his time at Bayern Munich in 2016–17 under the famous coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Although he was never a member of Bayern’s first squad, the former German Under-19 international had the opportunity to train with the Italian manager, who was fired by the Bundesliga club in September 2017, and he left quite an effect on the then-teenager.
“He [Ancelotti] knows how to deal with stars. But he wasn’t the most talkative with the young players. Still, he made you feel like you belonged.
“Football-wise, I have developed incredibly thanks to the training sessions with the professionals,” added Tillman.
Aside from David Beckham, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Wayne Rooney, Messi is perhaps the biggest name to ever play in the Major League Soccer (MLS).
While on vacation, Messi will make his Inter Miami debut on July 21 when they take on Cruz Azul of Mexico.
However, he will not play in the MLS All-Star game versus Arsenal on July 19 because his name was not included in Rooney’s team.
