Mother Dies While Separating Her Sons’ Fight In Abuja

LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – A woman identified as Zainab Ibrahim has reportedly died while separating a fight that ensued between her two sons, Inusa and Usman, at the Kpaduma ll area of Asokoro in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.

Although the actual cause of the fight is yet to be discovered, it was gathered from a source that one of her sons, Inuwa, mistakenly macheted their mother on her left hand.

The source explained: “Zainab was rushed to a private hospital where she died”.

He added that Inusa had attempted to use the cutlass on his brother but mistakenly cut his mother on her left hand.

When contacted, the Spokesperson for the FCT command, Josephine Adeh, explained that Inusa was at large and that investigation was ongoing.

She revealed that the Command received a distress call and rushed to the scene, stressing that the mother was taken to the hospital, where she was confirmed dead.

Adah added that Usman had been apprehended and is in custody, while Inusa is at large.
