IBADAN, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – The Peoples Democratic Party’s flag bearer, Atiku Abubakar, has become the first top candidate to arrive his polling unit in Ajiya, Yola north LGA of Adamawa State, to cast his vote.
The Waziri of Adamawa was spotted at his polling unit a few minutes ago, where he moved towards the polling booth to cast his vote.

Voiceofnaija.ng checks revealed that other major contenders in this year’s election had yet to cast their votes as at the time of filing this report, making the former Nigerian VP the first of the others to do so.
Atiku arrived the polling unit in company of his wife as he was quickly did his accreditation and cast his vote immediately afterwards.
After the voting process, the PDP flagbearer said he is optimistic of emerging victorious at the end of the exercise.
Atiku who is one of the front runners in today’s presidential election, while speaking to journalists after casting his vote, said he was satisfied with the conduct so far.
