Pep Guardiola’s side overtook their title rivals to take top the league table for the first time since last year.
Guardiola’s forward, Erling Haland sealed the win late on for the Citizens as they claimed a crucial three points.
City’s midfielder, Kevin De Bruyne opens the scoring in the first half as Bukayo Saka leveled for the Gunners before the break.
But it was the visitors who came out on top to grab advantage in the Premier League title race.
Although, the Gunners have a game in hand, this will still feel like a bitter blow for Mikel Arteta’s team.
