LAGOS,Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has not engaged in any discussions with Napoli striker Victor Osimhen regarding a potential four-year contract worth €13 million, according to popular transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
This statement contradicts earlier reports by Italian publication Il Matino, which claimed that Osimhen was on the verge of joining PSG in a €120 million deal.
Osimhen, who transferred to Napoli from Lille in 2020, signed a new contract in December that significantly boosted his monthly earnings to €1.5 million.

The Nigerian striker’s impressive performances, which included scoring 31 goals in 39 appearances last season and leading Napoli to their first league title in over 30 years, have attracted attention from top clubs across Europe.
His Napoli contract includes a release clause valued at £113 million.
Il Matino asserted that Osimhen was close to sealing a move to PSG, where he would earn an annual salary of €13 million upon signing the four-year contract currently under consideration.
However, Romano refuted these claims, stating in his Substack publication, “Based on current information, no significant progress has been made, and PSG has not made a decision regarding whether they will pursue a center-forward or a different type of player.”
Romano’s remarks provide relief to English Premier League clubs Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal, all of whom have been linked with a potential transfer for Osimhen.
