The commissioner reiterated that public secondary schools in the state were not authorized to collect any WAEC registration fee.
She cautioned that officials of public schools demanding any fee for the examination would be considered an act of sabotage.
Aderiye urged parents and guardians to refrain from paying unauthorized fees, emphasizing that such actions undermine government policies and hinder efforts to improve the socioeconomic status of the populace.
