LAGOS,Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) –Chelsea left-back Ben Chilwell will miss the upcoming Premier League clash against Manchester United as he continues to recover from illness, according to manager Mauricio Pochettino.Ā
Chilwell also sat out Chelsea’s recent draw against Burnley due to a leg injury suffered after returning from international duty.
However, there is positive news for the team as right-back Malo Gusto has returned to training and is available for selection.Ā

Pochettino confirmed that Trevoh Chalobah, Carney Chukwuemeka, and goalkeeper Robert Sanchez have resumed team training, while several players, including Levi Colwill and Christopher Nkunku, are still undergoing rehabilitation.
Pochettino emphasised the need for improvement and a strong mentality within the young Chelsea squad ahead of the crucial match against Manchester United, urging the players to demonstrate their character and prove their worth at the club.
With Chelsea currently positioned 12th in the league table with 40 points, securing a victory against sixth-placed Manchester United is crucial for their ambitions.
