ABUJA, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Nigeria’s Minister of Labour and Employment, Simon Lalong, is reportedly planning to tender his resignation letter as a Minister.
Voiceofnaija.ng gathered that the former Governor of Plateau State is yet to resign as Minister, but there are feelers from Abuja that this will be done in a matter of days.
Sources say the Minister is resigning his appointment so as to resume as a Senator following the the Court of Appeal’s affirmation of the judgment of the tribunal that recently sacked the elected members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Plateau State.
This development automatically meant that Lalong is now the winner of the Plateau South Senatorial election that held on 25 February, 2023.
