LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) Alexia Putellas, Spain’s football star, has achieved a milestone in her career as she becomes the all-time top scorer for Barcelona’s women’s team.
This remarkable feat comes after she scored her 182nd goal for Barcelona Femeni in Liga F.
Her achievement has surpassed the previous record held by her compatriot, Jenni Hermoso, who had scored 181 goals for the club during two stints between 2013-2017 and 2019-2022.
This milestone draws a parallel with another football legend, Lionel Messi, who holds the record for the most goals scored among male footballers.
