LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) During Manchester United’s inaugural Women’s Champions League clash with PSG on Tuesday, visiting fans from Paris Saint-Germain alleged they were removed from the stadium for simply supporting their team.
One fan said, “Hello, we were asked to leave the stadium because we were cheering for our team, PSG Feminines,” while another showed the empty section where PSG supporters had been seated.

The match ended in a 1-1 draw, with Tabitha Chawinga scoring for PSG and substitute Melvine Malard equalizing in the second half, keeping Manchester United’s qualification hopes alive in the second qualifying round tie.
Both teams will meet again for the return leg on Wednesday, 18 October, at Parc des Princes, with the victor advancing to the competition’s group stages.
