LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) Four Paris Saint-Germain players, including Ousmane Dembele, Randal Kolo Muani, Achraf Hakimi, and Layvin Kurzawa, may face sanctions for their offensive chant directed at Marseille fans following their 4-0 victory in the Classique on Sunday.
The players allegedly shouted an offensive phrase during their celebration, captured in a social media clip.
PSG supporters are also under scrutiny for alleged homophobic chants directed at the visiting team during the game, lasting nearly 15 minutes, which falls under the French FA’s definition of discrimination.

Olivier Klein, the inter-ministerial delegate for the fight against racism, anti-Semitism, and anti-LGBT hatred (DILCRAH), criticized both PSG and the FA for the chants and expressed his shock on social media.
He plans to engage in discussions with the club and the French FA and considers legal action if necessary.
The Minister of Sports and Olympics, Amelie Oudea-Castea, revealed that she has coordinated France football’s discriminatory commission, which is expected to launch an investigation into the chants.
She called on the club to identify those responsible and “remove them from the stadiums.”
In response, PSG issued a statement committing to intensify their efforts to combat homophobia and pledging to work with their partners on this important issue in the coming days.
