ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- An incident unfolded in northeastern Mexico as the roof of a church collapsed during a baptism, resulting in the loss of 10 lives and leaving 60 others injured.
This devastating incident occurred in the coastal town of Ciudad Madero, situated within the Tamaulipas state.
Reports from the scene revealed that approximately 80 individuals were gathered at the Santa Cruz parish when the roof suddenly gave way.

Among the victims, there were three children, five women, and two men who tragically lost their lives in the disaster.
Governor of Tamaulipas, Americo Villarreal, shared the grim news with reporters, expressing deep sorrow over the loss of lives in this heartbreaking event.
