LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) A documentary series titled “Messi meets America” is set to air on Apple TV+, providing an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Lionel Messi’s move to Inter Miami in Major League Soccer (MLS).
The six-part series delves into how Messi, a seven-time Ballon d’Or winner, ended up in the United States, with former Manchester United legend David Beckham playing a pivotal role in the transfer.
It also documents Messi’s early experiences in Florida with his new MLS team.
Since joining Inter Miami, Messi has made an immediate impact, and the documentary promises an inside view of his journey.

The first three episodes of “Messi meets America” will premiere globally on 11 October, with three additional episodes set to be released by Apple TV+ at a later date.
Messi, meanwhile, is hoping to recover from an injury in time to assist Inter Miami in their quest for the 2023 MLS playoffs.
