RICHMOND, Texas. (VOICE OF NAIJA) — In an effort to address the swirling rumors surrounding the untimely demise of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known as MohBad, Perez Medcare Hospital has stepped forward to clarify the situation.
In a statement released via their official Instagram page on Monday night, and obtained by voiceofnaija.ng, the renowned medical facility categorically denied any involvement in the singer’s death.
The press release states that MohBad was brought in dead to their premises, contrary to misleading information suggesting he had been admitted for treatment.
According to the hospital’s statement, MohBad’s lifeless body was delivered to Perez Medcare Hospital at approximately 4:30 pm on September 12, 2023.
The medical team wasted no time in springing into action, conducting an assessment that revealed no signs of life. They observed the absence of central or peripheral pulse, a lack of heartbeat, and unresponsive vital signs.

Furthermore, the dilation and fixed state of the singer’s pupils indicated an irreversible condition.
Upon attempting CPR, the medical team noticed rigor mortis—a postmortem stiffening of certain body parts—further confirming that MohBad was already deceased when he arrived at the hospital.
The individuals accompanying his body were informed of the situation and advised to transfer him to the nearest government hospital for morgue arrangements.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the emergency revealed that MohBad had been receiving treatment at home from a nurse, who allegedly administered injections. It was upon this revelation that Perez Medcare Hospital clarified their lack of involvement with the singer’s care, reiterating that he was never a patient at their facility. They also made it clear that the nurse in question was not affiliated with their hospital.
The video circulating on social media, purportedly showing MohBad receiving treatment at Perez Medcare Hospital, was debunked by the medical facility as being falsely attributed to them.
