LAGOS, Nigeria. (VOICE OF NAIJA) — Nollywood has lost one of its revered actors as Oluyemi Lawrence Adeyemi, widely known as Suara, has passed away.
The news was confirmed in a statement signed by his son, Adedotun Adeyemi.
Suara, who rose to prominence through his role in the popular 2001 Wale Adenuga hit series, ‘Super Story,’ died on Sunday, September 24.
In the official statement, Adedotun Adeyemi expressed the family’s sorrow, stating, “It is with a heavy heart but with total submission to God that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, Oluyemi Lawrence Adeyemi (Suara), who went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 24, 2023.”
While grieving the loss, the release states that the family finds comfort in the knowledge that Suara has found eternal rest.
