Former security men turned entertainers, Happie Boiz, have tendered a public apology to the Senior Pastor of OPM Ministries, Apostle Johnson Ugochinyere.
Recall that Happie Boiz made news in June after they called out the clergyman who sent them on scholarship to Cyprus.
They claimed that the cleric abandoned them in the foreign land and that he gave them money for the first six months after arriving in Cyprus and had since stopped assisting them financially.
Reacting to their allegation, Pastor Ugochinyere said it became a problem to continue sending them money because of the economy and exchange rate.
He suggested that they transfer their studies to Nigeria or a neighbouring African country.
He also stated that he had paid for their tickets to fly out of Cyprus.
The young men in their response said they would not be returning to Nigeria and went on to taunt the clergyman.
In a new video shared on their social media page on Thursday afternoon September 7, Happie Boiz said things aren’t going well for them in Cyprus and asked the clergyman to forgive them.
The duo said that they were ready to fly to Nigeria to apologize personally if the pastor wished.
‘’We are here to say a very big sorry to Nigerians, most especially Papa OPM. We know that we have wronged him and we have admitted our mistake. Please find a place in your heart and forgive us” one said.
‘’Even if he wants us to come back to Nigeria right now just to get his forgiveness, we are going to come back. We are really sorry,” another said.

Nigerians have been reacting to the post, with many hurling abuses at them.
Ray Diuto said, “Ingratitude is a curse. Play ooo joke oooo but you can’t bite the hand that fed you. Sometimes keep your reservations to yourselves. But these days people wanna just talk talk talk and end up in problems above them. Stupidooooos”
Emmynet24 said, “Things are not going well. You haven’t seen anything. Hunger is dangerous and school fees are not paid and visa expired.”
A social media user said, “They represent the average Nigerian. You help them, they insult you. When things go badly, they come back and say sorry. Help then again and you’ll see the final insult from them.”
my name: Chika reacted, “These 2 prodigal whack-jobs continuously behaved badly, lackadaisically and unrepentantly at their job places and got fired. Instead of this so called Apostle reprimanding and advising them, he rewarded their crass stupidity by flying them to Cyprus to garner social media clout. It didn’t take long for him to realize his pockets couldn’t accommodate the chicanery and he reneged. Look boys take my advice and find things to do there. whether he forgives you or not won’t change your financial positions. Coming back to Nigeria will be a regret, especially if you have no returning visas. You better strive and change your situations there.”
Bammy called the duo “stupid ungrateful boys“, asking if they “are trying to pull a stunts or what. They want to trend by all means”.
One user weighed in, “Someone that is asking God for forgiveness, you people come dey ask 4 your own forgiveness… May God help us all.”
“You lack respect by calling Nigerians GUYS , FOOLS,” one Aderemi Buraimoh reacted.
Another user commented, “Foolish ungrateful idiots, I hope the pastor curses you 2 fools for a long time. Please do not forgive them sir, let their idiocy haunt and punish them for a long time.”
