LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – La Liga President has strongly condemned RFEF Chief Rubiales’ Post-2023 Women’s World Cup actions after Spain’s victory.

Apart from the incident involving the kiss, Rubiales was also observed making an offensive gesture from his seat during the match against England.
Tebas has asserted that Rubiales’ behaviour has not only compromised the dignity of the players but also tarnished the image of the entire nation.
In a post on the platform formerly known as Twitter, now called X, Tebas wrote, “Focusing on the players of the National Team and their reactions, coercing them, is unacceptable. They are not responsible for the image projected by Rubiales.”
Tebas went on to emphasize that regardless of political affiliations, Rubiales’ actions of inappropriate touching, forcing kisses, and displaying disrespectful behavior during such a crucial moment have damaged the dignity not only of Jennifer Hermoso but also that of Spain as a whole.
Despite Rubiales’ continued claims of innocence, Tebas’ intervention marks a significant moment in the ongoing saga, highlighting the depth of disapproval surrounding Rubiales’ behavior.
